From the 21st to the 26th of September 2020, the Second Summer School of RESEARCH, organized and hosted by the Institute for Mediterranean Studies – Foundation for Research & Technology Hellas (IMS-FORTH) took place in Rethymno. The program includes lectures, workshops and a field trip. Although the Covid-19 Pandemic situation, the participation to the Summer School, both in presence and on-line, was significant.
The Summer School ended, for in-presence participants, with the visit to the submerged site of Olous (Elounda, Crete), which provided a unique experience of an archaeological site visit, by group swimming among submerged archaeological structures.
We thank all the participants and especially all those who made possible the realization of the Second Summer School of RESEARCH and we wait for you all for the Third Summer School of RESEARCH, which will be organized by Università degli Studi della Tuscia (UNITUS) in Viterbo (Italy) in September 2021.
